Welcome to Sustainable Ocean Women Future

On this website you can read more about our projects which aim to promote sustainable marine culture and strengthen the position of women on the Mafia Islands and Zanzibar. Through our initiatives, Sustainable Ocean, Young girls and education, and Women Future Chicken Farming Academy, we work dedicatedly to create positive changes in society.

Sustainable Ocean

focuses on preserving and protecting the ecosystems in our oceans. We work to reduce marine pollution, promote sustainable fishing practices and raise awareness of the importance of preserving the marine environment for future generations.

Young girls and education

is dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent girls from accessing the same education as boys. Through our pad project in partnership with the Holding Hands Foundation, we provide support, resources and mentoring programs to encourage girls to pursue their educational goals and realize their full potential.

Women Future Chicken Farming Academy

focuses on empowering women's economic independence by providing training and resources in poultry farming and vegetable growing. Through this academy, we give women the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed as entrepreneurs in agriculture.

Overall, we work to create a future where the sea is clean and sustainable, girls have equal access to education, and women have the opportunity to earn their own income, power and influence, and emerge as leaders in their local communities. Explore our projects and join us on the journey towards a more sustainable and fair future for all.
